Anthony Kerr oil on board painting of Gravesend and Tilbury viewed from the Southbank of the Thames. Signed and dated 1956/57. A very fine urban landscape.Biography Anthony Kerr. 1924-
Born in Gloucester, Anthony Kerr studied at the Slade School of Fine Art under Randolph Schwabe, and later taught alongside Kyffin Williams at Highgate School and at St. George's College, Weybridge. He has had over 50 exhibitions during the 20th century. This is a very fine London townscape.
